Best Buy is offering the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $39.99, a $30 discount from its listed $69.99 price. The deal also includes one month of Xbox Game Pass, valued in the source report at $22.99; eligibility and redemption details are not specified there.
Best Buy is selling Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $39.99, down from its listed price of $69.99, and the offer includes one month of Xbox Game Pass. The discount lowers the cost of a 4K streaming device that connects to a television’s HDMI port, while the added subscription offer gives buyers another potential use for the hardware.
The sale price is $30 below the stated $69.99 original price, which the source report describes as a 43% discount. It values the included month of Xbox Game Pass at $22.99. Those figures are presented by the report; the source does not provide separate confirmation of the current retail price, the subscription’s redemption conditions, or how long Best Buy will keep the offer available.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus was released by Amazon in 2025, according to the report. It connects to a compatible TV through HDMI and provides access to streaming apps. The reported specifications include Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos, along with a quad-core 1.7GHz processor. Supported picture and sound formats depend on the television, audio equipment, network, and content being used.
The device uses Amazon’s Fire TV interface and Alexa Voice Remote. The report says viewers can search for programs by actor, plot description, or quote using Alexa, and use apps including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Max. It also lists free, ad-supported services such as Tubi, Pluto TV, and Fire TV Channels. Access to paid services may require separate subscriptions, and app availability can vary by location.
A Lower-Cost Route to 4K Streaming
For people with a television that has an HDMI port but limited built-in apps, a streaming stick can add access to online video without replacing the set. At $39.99, the deal puts a 4K-capable device below the report’s stated $69.99 price, though buyers should compare it with other streaming hardware and consider which services they already use.
The included Game Pass month broadens the offer beyond video streaming. The source report says Xbox Cloud Gaming can be used to stream games with Game Pass Ultimate and a compatible controller. That does not mean every Game Pass tier includes cloud gaming, nor does the report spell out whether the bundled month is Ultimate or describe any restrictions. Buyers interested in gaming should check the offer’s terms and the service’s requirements before relying on it.
The discount may be most useful for households seeking an inexpensive way to access streaming apps on an older or secondary television. The advertised picture and sound features are benefits only when the rest of the setup supports them: a TV must be compatible with the relevant HDR format, and Dolby Atmos playback requires compatible audio equipment and content.

What the Fire TV Stick Adds
A streaming stick plugs into a TV’s HDMI input and connects to the internet, allowing users to run supported apps through the device rather than the television’s own smart-TV software. It cannot make a television support every feature listed in a product description: resolution, HDR formats, and audio output are limited by the connected TV and equipment.
The source describes the 4K Plus as Amazon’s next-generation 4K streaming stick released in 2025. It highlights Wi-Fi 6, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, Alexa search, and the remote’s ability to control TV power and volume. Some smart-home controls, such as displaying a camera feed or adjusting compatible lights, depend on having supported devices and configurations.
The Ambient report presents the Best Buy offer as a deal on current hardware, rather than a discount on an older model. It does not include a dated price history, independent performance testing, or a comparison with competing streaming sticks. Its stated savings are based on the listed original price, not a documented long-term average selling price.

Offer Terms and Compatibility
The source report does not state when the deal ends, whether it is available to all Best Buy customers, or what steps are required to claim the Game Pass month. It also does not identify the Game Pass tier, any new-customer limitations, or whether payment details are needed after the promotional month. Buyers should review Best Buy’s listing and the subscription terms before purchase.
It is also unclear whether the quoted $69.99 original price reflects a standard, sustained retail price or a comparison price used for this promotion. The reported $30 savings and 43% figure are therefore best understood as comparisons with that stated price, not as proof of a historical average.
Finally, the device’s advertised features do not guarantee that every television will display 4K or HDR, or that every audio setup will produce Dolby Atmos. The source does not provide setup requirements in detail. TV compatibility, internet quality, app subscriptions, and gaming-service eligibility may affect what an individual buyer can use.
Check the Listing Before Buying
Prospective buyers can check Best Buy’s product page for the current price, stock, promotion end date, and Game Pass redemption terms. They should also confirm that their TV has an available HDMI port and supports the resolution or audio features they want to use. The source report gives no date for the end of the sale, so its availability may change.
After purchase, users interested in cloud gaming should verify the subscription tier and controller requirements, while those planning to stream paid services should factor in their existing or future subscription costs. No further company announcement or follow-up milestone is provided in the source material.
